Microsoft Windows8 Problems Solution
It's been quite a while now writing about the latest Windows 8 news and
events for various online tech podcasts. One day while going through my tweets
and the comments about Windows 8's launch and expectations, I jumped off the
ridge to be able to think of a change in the way users use their Windows
computers. It's a big change. In fact, it's more like a 'then' and 'now'
situation when I calculated the difference.
Starting from Windows 3.1 to Windows 7, the desktop served as the user interface to open programs and files, access and/or change computer configurations, run virus scans, change power settings, browse the web, run commands and do a lot more that users have been doing since from the beginning they started using Windows-based computers. I would say Desktop was a gateway to explore your world. However, with Windows 8, a new style, known as Metro-style has been introduced to users.
The new Windows 8 interface is different from the previous versions of Windows. Windows 8 has a Metro-style interface that loads up first when you start your computer. The Interface shows an array of assorted tiles that bring up one-touch access to you to your emails, Twitter/Facebook and other social networking updates, news, shopping, and blah-blah. So this is more like you're the interface of a Smartphone or tablet that gives you one-touch access to all your apps, settings and essentials.
On this Metro-style interface of Windows 8, desktop is included as one of the tile options. Yes, if you want to access your desktop like you would do in Windows 7 or previous versions, you will have to click the Desktop tile on the Metro-style interface and your happiness will surely be back after seeing it. Rest is just the same, though you will experience major improvements in basic utilities like Task Manager, Disk Defragmenter, CHKDSK, and Transfer etc.
With so many changes and things in line to experience, users are certainly going to take some time to become accustomed to using Windows 8. Those who are already using Windows 8 beta version might have in fact become familiar with its features and interface. They might have even been enjoying the change which is a move to bridge the difference between the way they use their Smartphones/tablets and computers.
However, like technical problems with other new operating systems and software applications, Windows 8 problems might surface once the final version is out for use. If you remember, even iPhone 5 could not successfully sail through users' hands without running into problems. Well, it's not a major issue because users understand that software programs and technical problems go hand in hand. That's why iPhone 5 and Windows 8 are no exceptions for that matter.
In fact, I say that without technical problems and glitches, such software and applications cannot be improved and made for good. There has to be a room for improvement to make them excellent and best for use. And that's the reason users won't mind experiencing Windows 8 problems at all. It's because they know solutions for their Windows 8 problems will also exist. Microsoft will apparently pay heed and tend to such problems once they become known. So I must say that Windows 8 will bring good news to the users who will apparently accept the change and say 'Thank You Microsoft'.
